The subject through which the knowledge of forming, changing and recognizing of words is acquired is called Morphology (Sarf). It enables one to correctly read and translate arabic words.

This is the English translation of Ilmus Sarf of Moulana Mushtaq Ahmad Chartaoli which is the basic book of Arabic morphology used commonly in Darul-ulooms in Most Dar-E-Nizami Courses.
